Conferencing Interoperability Activity Group
The IMTC Conferencing Interoperability Activity Group (COIP AG) provides a forum for IMTC member companies to cooperate and pool resources on H.323, security, quality of service and other issues of common interest. This AG focuses on multimedia telecommunications applications including conferencing, video, multipoint, etc.
Additional information may be obtained by visiting The H.323 Forum, a website sponsored by IMTC.
What We Do
The main activities of the group are
- Organize interoperability H.323 and other technical test efforts (both virtual and face-to-face). This would be done in cooperation & coordination with both the SIP AG and with SIPit (where practical).
- Provide a forum for members to agree on feature/protocol profiles for H.323 and other applications as needed.
- Educate members on most recent developments in H.323 and other standards and market evolution.
