IMTC Membership
Membership in the IMTC is open to any and all interested parties, including
Internet application developers and service providers, teleconferencing hardware
and software suppliers, telecommunications service providers, teleconferencing
service providers, end users, educational institutes, government agencies, and
non-profit corporations. The qualifications for membership in this Non Profit
Corporation are as follows: Any Profit Corporation, Non Profit Corporation,
Government Organization, Educational Institution or other enterprise that supports
the IMTC's goals, policies and procedures is qualified to become a Member of
the IMTC. Applicants shall be admitted to membership upon completion of a Registration
Form and payment of the first annual dues fee.
By combining their resources to work on common issues, the IMTC members gain
a number of benefits, including:
- Early access to standards related data and direction.
- Input to and ability to approve key IMTC technical specifications and recommendations.
- Ability to participate in engineering interoperability tests and bring standards-compliant
products to market earlier.
- Knowledge of products being developed by other members of the IMTC.
- Industry and media visibility through IMTC sponsored marketing and educational
programs.
